Benefits of Subscribing:

Although you can view the Joyful Being website without subscribing, with a subscription you will have a number of additional privilages. You will be able to manage your account online, post to forums, submit content, submit events, mark favorite hobby tribes, rate articles, create a personalized event calendar, and send suggestions and comments to our staff. You can attend monthly meetings and Hobby Tribe activities, and receive discounts from our business subscribers.

Cost of Subscribing:

An individual subscription is $35 per year. A business subscription is $150 per year.

Additional Benefits for Business Subscribers:

A business subscriber will receive an entrance in the service directory, a business webpage, and unmoderated event submission.

Payment Options:

You may pay online by credit card or Paypal (processed in 30 to 60 seconds), or by check, cash, or money order (allow seven to ten days for offline processing).

Service Directory and Hobby Tribes:

All services and hobby tribes are classified according to the system of categories and subcategories to make it easier to find what you're looking for. On both pages, you are shown the top level category list, from which you can choose the topic of interest. Below the top level, the content changes based on whether there exists a service provider or a hobby tribe bearing that classification. Service providers may be listed under multiple categories.

Submitting a Description of your Business Services:

Once you purchase a business subscription, you can update your services page by click on the My Account link at the top of any page, then selecting the Update My Page link in the left menu. From there you will be able to provide and update the details of your Services page.

Service Directory Subcategories:

We welcome suggestions for new subcategories. Use the online suggestion form on the Contact Us page to request a subcategory be added.

Forming a Hobby Tribe:

If you would like to form a new Hobby Tribe, use the Contact Us page to submit your request.

Submitting content to the Ponderings page:

We encourage subscribers to contribute content to the website. Simply log in, and go to the Submit Content form to send us your original article, story, or poem.

Suggesting New Links:

Suggested links can be sent to use from the Submit Content form.
